Sadly, Nick died on June 15, 1934, in Klamath Falls, OR, and by 1950, Alice and Howard had moved to Tennant, Siskiyou County, CA.

Alice married Howard Sinnett on November 28, 1935, in Klamath Falls, OR. In 1940, they were living in McKay, OR.
