Born February 17, 1901 in Pacheco, Mexico to Oscar G. and Martha Ann Rowley Lunt. Married Burton M. Cox August 17, 1920 in Salt Lake City; he died August 17, 1956. She married Joseph Byron Knight May 27, 1963 in Salt Lake City; he died December 30, 1976. Member of the L.D.S. Church and the D.U.P.Survived by children and their spouses, Velma and Louis Smolka, Salt Lake City; Norma and Phil R. Young, Centerville; Donald B. and Stella Cox, San Clemente, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; step children, Virginia Day, Provo; Delores Vance, Sebastopol, Calif.; Joseph A. Knight, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Floyd A. Knight, Sacramento Calif.; and a brother, Mack G. Lunt, Palm Desert, California.
Funeral servies will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 1991, at the MacKay Deseret Mortuary Chapel, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call on Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
