Bryan N. Kubic, Jr., 22, died Thursday morning, April 23, 2009, in Annapolis, Md.

Born March 20, 1987, in Johnstown, a son of Bryan N. and Renee G. (Greathouse) Kubic of Manchester, he was a 2004 graduate of Northeastern Senior High School.

He was a military police officer, currently stationed at Ft. Belvoir Army Base, Ft. Belvoir, Va., and had served a one-year tour in Iraq.

He had been an avid wrestler and enjoyed basketball, golf, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Bryan is survived by his daughter, Sienna Rose Kubic, and his fiance, Danielle Wirfel, both of Ebensburg; a brother, Matthew J. Kubic, and sister, Nicole L. Kubic, both of Manchester; maternal grandmother, Esther M. Brown and her husband, Ted of Bedford; paternal grandparents, George T. Kubic and Darlyn S. Senft, both of Johnstown; a great-grandmother, Edna M. Greathouse of Windber; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Raymond A. Greathouse.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church, 66 S. Main St., Manchester. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be private.
