Mrs. McGann entered the Washington Veterans' Home at Retsil with her husband in 1945 after residing in Walla Walla. She died at the Veterans Home on October 23, 1961 from a coronary occlusion. Mrs. McGann had been a resident there for 16 years, one month. She was 80 years old.
