Helen L. Buchanan, 84, of Greenfield died Tuesday at Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.
Mrs. Buchanan lived most of her life in Rush County. She had lived at Regency Place in Greenfield for two years. She was a member of Rushville Church of Christ. She was born October 12, 1915, in Rush County, a daughter of Wilbur and Mamie Barnes Lee.
She is survived by three sons, Marion of Knightstown, Claude Eugene of Shelbyville and Keith A. of Columbus; a daughter, Lavon (husband; Robert) Schoettmer of Shelbyville; two brothers, Loren Lee of Martinsville and Wayne Lee of Jeffersonville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lee; a son, James R. Davis; and a daughter, Shirley Jean Buchanan.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville. Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
