Allie Brummitt was born to Henry Hartwell and Lucy Jane Brooks. He and Allen Foust were twin boys born on Sept. 1, 1896. He married Mary Erin Brown on Oct. 8, 1916 (the day before her 16th birthday). They lived most of their married life in Old Hickory, TN. where he was employed with Dupont. He accepted Christ as his saviour after most of his children had left home. He became a very devout Christian. He was a big joker and liked to "pick at you." He also was a big prankster.
