Robert L. McEwan
Funeral for Robert L. McEwan, 5135 NE 24th Ave, will be at 10 am Monday in the Ross Hollywood Chapel. Mr. McEwan, 73, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Born in Junction City, March 18, 1897, he was a local resident for 65 years. A retired locomotive engineer, he was a member of the Portland American Legion Post No. 1.
An Army veteran of World War I, he was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 1962.
Survivors include: his wife, Roberta: two daughters Mrs. Robert Wilson of Corvallis and Mrs. Gary Bryant of Portland, a son Robert R. of Gearhart and 10 grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Willamette National Cemetery.
