Evangelist. Co-Pastor of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in Brooklyn, New York. She is well known as the wife of Rev. Timothy D. Wright, an award winning gospel singer who was also the founder and pastor of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center Church of God in Christ. She actually wrote the Grammy and Stellar Award nominated song "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus (Katrina Song)." She and her grandson, Daniel (DJ) Wright Jr., were killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 80. Her husband was driving and sustained critical injuries, eventually losing his battle on April 24, 2009. The alleged drunk driver of the car going the wrong way on the highway was also killed. The family was returning from the Church of God in Christ Convention in Detroit Michigan. Instead of staying to the end of the program, they left the convention before the Benediction prayer of protection because they had such a long drive back to New York and they didn't want to be delayed further by the convention crowd.
