Margaret immigrated to the UNITED STATES with her family in 1831. Margaret married Johann "John" George Rentz on 18 Nov 1828 in Musberg, KE, W. Germany, and they had TEN children during their marriage:
Mary Daugherty Rentz-Compton (1829-1859),
Jakob Friedrich Rentz (1830-Chidhood Death),
James Michael Rentz (1832-Childhood Death),
William Rentz (1834-1873),
Benjamin Rentz (1836-1864),
George Washington Rentz (1838-1921),
Martha Elizabeth Rentz-Etheridge (1842-?),
John Wesley Rentz (1845-1913),
David Joseph "Joe" Rentz (1847-1908), and
Margaret Lucinda Rentz-Lewis (1849-1914).
Margaret passed away circa 1852 and was buried at Paynes Chapel in Dixons Mills, Marengo County, Alabama next to her husband.
