Funeral services for Mrs. William J. Neel, 92. of 1161 Ponce de Leon Ave.. N. E., who died Thursday night in a private hospital, will be held at 4 p. m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Cartersville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery there.

Mrs. Neel served as president of the Georgia Baptist Women's Missionary Union for 25 years. The former Isa Beall Williams, she was the daughter of the late Alfred C. and Harriet Elizabeth Williams of Cartersville. She attended Mary Sharp College in Tennessee and later studied in Germany and France. Mercer Universitv conferred an honorarv degree unon her several years ago.

She taught at the former Female Seminary in Cartersville. Her late husband practiced law in Rome and Cartersville.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. James W. Vaughan Sr of Atlanta, and several nieces and nephews.
