James Hunter Grow, 72, of Grants Pass died Monday, June 21, 2004, at his home. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Chapel of the Valley - L. B. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Grow was born December 25, 1931, in Sophia, W.V. He served in the U.S. Army in the 14th Infantry Regiment during the Korean War. He earned the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal. Before his retirement, he owned Cave Tours and a sign shop.
