SARAH "SALLIE" LAVONIA MARION-PUGH was born on 4 March 1882 to Hilliard Judge Marion (1844 - 1921) and Violet Jane Smith (1850 - 1933).

Sallie married Aaron Jefferson Pugh on 15 Apr 1908 in Sweetwater, Marengo County, Alabama, and they had SIX children of record:

Marion Jefferson Pugh (1909-1982),
James Morris Pugh (1910-1941);
Enon "Anie" Beatrice Pugh-King (1911-1995),
(Infant Son) Pugh (1913 - 1913),
Sarah Dean Pugh-Morrow (1917-2009), and
Robert Orval Pugh (1919-1999).

Sallie passed away on 16 August 1931 in Luling, Caldwell County, Texas, and is buried at the Luling City Cemetery.
