Aaron L. Prestridge

(STOVALL, Ga.) Aaron L. Prestridge, 77, of Stovall, Ga., died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at his home.

Born April 3, 1931, in Randolph County, Ala., Mr. Prestridge was the son of the late J. C. and Janie Rollins Prestridge. He had lived in Stovall for 50 years, was a member of Stovall Baptist Church and was retired from Fabric Designs in Hogansville, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Ora Harcrow Prestridge of Stovall; daughter, Sharon Hill of LaGrange, Ga.; sons, Larry Prestridge of LaGrange and Terry Prestridge of Stovall; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. EST, Sunday, March 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Revs. Aaron McCollough and S.T. Janney will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.
