Honeyville. Varsel Lyman Chlarson passed away on November 10, 2002, at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was born on August 24, 1919, to Lyman E. Chlarson and LaVoy Hunsaker Chlarson. He married Ruth Hunsaker on March 23, 1944, in the Logan Temple.

He is survived by his beloved wife and five remaining children: Marsha (Steven) Bjornn, Rexburg, Idaho; Juliet (Scott) Smedley, Layton, Utah; Paula (Ken) Sayer, Alpine, Utah; Ted Loren (Judy) Chlarson, Honeyville, Utah; Jill (David) Reid, Custer, Washington, and Camille (Gary) Simmons, Farmington, Utah.

He is also survived by three sisters, Berma Orem, Joyce Frisby and Uleah Flamm and two brothers, J. Cecil Chlarson and Quinn J. Chlarson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ila June and Donna Rae, two sons, Rex Lyman and Bart Alma, and two granddaughters, Lori Chlarson and Ashley Chlarson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, 12:00 noon at the Honeyville LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 2620 West 6980 North. Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 13th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 203 South 100 East, Brigham City and Thursday Nov. 14th from 10:00 -11:45 a.m. at the Honeyville Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rogers and Taylor and Nelson Funeral Homes.

Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery
