Ray the son of Orson and Marion (Ross) Pratt.

He died in a San Francisco hospital after a lingering illness at the age of 74.

Ray's father was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Council of the Twelve Apostles.

He was a veteran of the Spanish American War. 1st Troop Utah Cavalry Volunteers.
∼Son of Orson and Marian Ross Pratt. Married Hannah MacLeod on November 29, 1898.
