Christine Agnes Halonen Johnson, 66, of 178 Norton Road, Kingston died Sunday, September 16, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on December 22, 1940 in Cudahy, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Rudolf and Emily Plantaric Halonen. Christine was employed by Winthorpe Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas E. Johnson, Jr.; and her sister, Delores Gregor.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Johnson of Kingston, Daniel and Wendy Johnson of Wisconsin, and William and Rachael Johnson; her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and John Gunn all of Kingston; seven grandchildren, Thomas IV, Ryan, Sarah, Erica, Shawn and Amber Johnson and Austin Gunn; her great-grandchild, Kristopher Johnson; her brother, Mike Halonen of Washington; her sisters, Dona Petrie of Texas and Elaine Gerber of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Savior of All Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Zwemke officiating.
