Peru- Donald J Joe Jones died at 7:15 am at Howard Community Hospital. Born June 18th, 1944 in Peru he was the son of Ottoway and Cleyla (Garner) Jones. On December 22nd, 1963 he married Bonnie K Frantz, who survives.
He was a job setter at Chrysler Transmission Plant and a member of the Anoka United Methodist Church in Cass County.
Surviving is his mother of Peru; two sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Vicki Jones, Columbia City IN; David and Shirley Jones, Taylor Mill KY; daughter Holly and Keith Cromwell, St. Augustine FL; four grandchildren Brandon, Aliceson, and Cal Jones; Keelie Cromwell. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services are 10 am at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home 105 W. Third St. Pastor Jim Abbott will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery Cass County. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made either Juvenile Diabetes Association, Wishard Hospital, or Anoka United Methodist Church.
