Eunice Leota Harris Huddleston, age 88, West Plains, MO, died May 10, 2008 in West Vue Nursing Center. She was born Dec. 29, 1919 in Howell County, MO, to John L. and Bessie A. Huddleston Harris.
She received her education in the schools of Thomasville, MO, and on July 3, 1939, was married at Alton, MO, to Jesse Lynn Huddleston, who preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1985.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Huddleston was employed at the Akron Dime Bank.
She loved to cook, enjoyed sewing and making quilts.
Mrs. Huddleston attended Elk Creek Church.
She is survived by two children, James Huddleston, and wife, Nancy, of Portland, TX; and Linda Lent, of West Plains, MO; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Harris, and John Harris, and wife, Darlis; two sisters, Margaret Amyx and Norma Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation will be today, Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Funeral services will be May 13, 2008, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elk Creek Cemetery.
