Funeral services for Edna Lee Jones, 86, were held at 2 P.M., Thursday, April 13, 2000 at the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel.
Edna was born, May 12, 1913, in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Marion and Sarah (Moore) Walker. Edna married George Jones December 24, 1936 in Wagoner, Wagoner County, Oklahoma.
She is survived by four daughters, Norma Jo Cothren of Lawton; Mrs. Wanda (Bob) Lucas of Del City; Mrs. LaVerne (Carl) Wellman, of North Judson, Indiana; Mrs. Barbara (Rodney) Fried of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Vera (Ezekiel) Davis of Wagoner. 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Two sons; David Eugene and George Wiley Jr. One daughter; Eugenia Lee Walker. Brothers; Sherman, Floyd and Jesse. Sisters; Goldie Irene Walker, Rockie Mae Smith and Helen Juanita Sivia. Grandchildren; Donald Ray Cothren, Diana and Bobby Jr. Lucas. Great-grandchildren Charles Wayne Lucas and Michael Duane Cothren.
Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Wagoner, Oklahoma.
