Thomas Morgan Daly, age 75, of Springport, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Allegiance Health in Jackson. He was born August 12, 1933 in Norwalk, Ohio, to Harold L. and Viola (Higgins) Daly. Thomas had worked for Dana Corporation as a Chemist. Currently, he was a self-employed farmer who raised Registered Angus which he enjoyed. Thomas enjoyed fishing. His survivors include daughters, Rebecca Hoogstraten of East Lansing and Carin Rowell of Kansas City, MO.; son, Matthew Daly of Springport; sisters Dr. Mary Daly of Springport and Barbara Powers, of Albion; sister-in-law, Dr. Mariam Daly, also of Albion; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dr. Harold Daly, Frank Daly and Charles Daly, SR. A Graveside Service was held 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, at Riverside Cemetery in Albion, with Reverend Dwayne Bagley officiating. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
