Abberger, Eric Hardy, born November 22, 1953, died at his home July 4, 2004. He was a medical technologist. He graduated from Edgewater High School with honors and earned a bachelors degree in Biology from the university of South Florida and a Masters degree in Health Science Management from the University of Central Florida. He operated medical labs as a career. He spent much of his early life as a patient at Johns Hopkins University Hospital as a result of a congenital endocrine disorder but overcame this challenge to lead a productive life. Hardy was warm and generous. He loved cats, fishing, and surfing. He had artistic ability and had recently taken up pastels as a medium. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Benjamin L. Abberger, Jr., a retired pediatrician, and Nancy Hardy Abberger and his three brothers: Benjamin Lester Abberger, III, John Albert Abberger, and William West Abberger and their families.
