"Ida Lydia Magdalena Degner, daughter of Carl and Mathilda (Schmidt) Degner, was born on July 26, 1893 on a farm near Hebron. She died May 10, 1986, at the age of 92 years.

"She was baptized July 30, 1893, and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Friedensau, on Apr[i]l 12, 1908.

"Ida attended school at Friedensau and lived and worked all her life in the Hebron and Lincoln areas.

"Ida and her sister Mathilda moved to the Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler in February 1983. Mathilda died the following year.

"Ida is survived by several nieces and nephews.

"Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church (Friedensau), rural Hebron, with Rev. Norman Friedmeier officiating. Angelia Flamme sang "In Thee Is Gladness" and was accompanied by Lois Pohlmann, organist.

"Casket bearers were Edgar Degner, Harvey Degner, Martin Juedes, Art Juedes, Harvey Stork and Virgil Keeler. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

"Adams-Tibbetts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
