Friday for
Everett Kline
Everett Norman Kline, 64,
of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
died at his home on June 22.
He was a longtime resident of
the Exira vicinity, and except
for the past 15 years, had
made his home here. He is
the son of Mrs. Nellie Kline
and the late Jacob W. Kline.
Services will be held Friday,
June 27, at the Exira Federat-
ed church at 2 o'clock, with
Rev. W. W. Russell officiating.
Burial will be in the Exira
cemetery.
In addition to his mother,
Mr. Kline is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Florence Kline;
four sons, Kenneth, Marvin,
Billy, and Gene, and 10 grand-
children, all of Pittsburgh.
Two other sons died in infan-
cy. His father preceded him in
death in 1946. Four brothers
and three sisters also survive.
They are Leonard, Dallas, and
Van Kline, all of Exira, and
Mark Kline of Belmond; Mrs.
Leila Nelson and Mrs. Merle
Wheeler of Exira, and Mrs.
Genevieve Kness of Guthrie
Center. Three sisters and two
brothers preceded him in
death.
Everett Kline was born
June 16, 1894 in Audubon
township. Most of his adult
life was spent in farming, and
for the past few years while
in this vicinity, also operated
a trucking line. At the time of
his death he was engaged in
operating heavy road equip-
ment.
Services were held at Pitts-
burgh for Mr. Kline on Tues-
day afternoon.
