Marguerite E. ZIMMERMAN, 76, of 904 Van Buren St., Walkerton, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday at Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, following a short illness. Mrs. Zimmerman was born June 26, 1913 in Rochester to Isaac and Maude MOWE THOMPSON. She moved to Walkerton in 1937 from Rochester. On Sept. 3, 1930 she married Leo Verl ZIMMERMAN, who died Nov. 24, 1971. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Verl [ZIMMERMAN], Fort Wayne a grandchild; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Verneal LIMING, Rochester. Preceding in death was a brother, Harley [THOMPSON]. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester, with the Rev. Michael E. SMITH officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Bauge Church of the Brethren, Wakarusa. Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton, is in charge of arrangements.
