Mr. Lewey
Charlie Ike Lewey, 69, Rt. 2, Tuscumbia, died Wednesday at the residence after apparently suffering a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Spry's Chapel, Sheffield, with Clayburn Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery, Spry of Sheffield directing.
The body will remain at the home of Mrs. Judy Greenhill until 12:30 when it will be placed in the chapel.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Gene Lewey, Leighton; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Black, Tuscumbia, Mrs. Mary Lou Ramsey, Tuscumbia, Mrs. Judy Greenhill, Tuscumbia; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; two brothers, Austin and Leonard Lewey, both of Tuscumbia; two sisters, Mrs. Odie Gibson, Calera, Ala., Mrs. Massey Tounget, Sheffield.
Mr. Lewey was a native of Colbert County, a retired employee of King Stove and Range Co.
Bearers will be Clyde Lewey, Jerald Lewey, James Lewey, David Lewey, Guy Sherrill, David Bonfield
