Clara Culp
SPRINGFIELD — The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 27, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Clara Culp of Springfield, who died April 17 of age-related causes. She was 93. After the service, a luncheon will be held at 1102 Dondea St. in Springfield. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Lowell, Wash., to Lewis and Dora Clough Sigsworth. She married Russel Culp on Feb. 6, 1936, in Everett, Wash.
She graduated from Everett High School in Lowell, Wash., and worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney for 26 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Hinkle of Springfield; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Her husband died Jan. 14, 2005, and a daughter, Donna Huser, died Dec. 25, 2008.
Private entombment will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
