Claude Crawford

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene for Claude P. Crawford of Eugene, who died March 21 of age-related causes. He was 80. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Oklahoma City to Jesse and Gladys Collins Crawford. He married Joy Jantz on Aug. 10, 1946, in Clinton, Okla.

Crawford attended a Baptist seminary in Hayward, Calif. He worked as a dry cleaner, and later was a Baptist minister for more than 40 years.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Roger of Stockton, Calif., Fred of Eugene, Michael of Oklahoma City, David of Calaveras, Calif., and Isaac of Custer City, Okla.; a brother, Thomas of Carson City, Nev.; two sisters, Betty Crowder and Una Schuler, both of Manteca, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Oklahoma Masonic Cemetery in Custer City. Remembrances to Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
