Survivors included her husband, W.T. Dempsey; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Butler, aka as Myrtle (Dempsey) Dempsey-Butler; a son, Buell Dempsey of the home; two sisters, Mrs. L.D. Dempsey and Mrs. Ester Casey, both of St. Louis, Missouri; nine grandchildren, one being Jack Dempsey, of Chanute Field, Illinois.
Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m. on November 11, 1941, at Midland Heights Methodist Church with Reverend W.W. Allbright officiating.
Burial was at Rose Lawn Memorial Park, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Arrangements made by Fentress Funeral Home.
