WALKERTON - Loren ''Bo'' Bosel, 66, of 31145 Watson Road, Walkerton, died at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in St. Mary Community Hospital, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Bosel was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Crown Point, Ind., to Fred and Gertrude Smith Bosel and lived in Walkerton for 25 years, coming from Merrillville, Ind. His wife, Doris, whom he married Oct. 10, 1981, in Walkerton, preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 1992.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorna Dominiack of Koontz Lake; two stepdaughters, Jodi Smith of Plymouth and Julie Renz of Walkerton; a stepson, Mark Burch of Walkerton; two sisters, Dora Rinkovsky and Jeanette Hanlon, both of Crown Point, Ind.; a brother, John Bosel of Crown Point; his mother-in-law, Ada Norris of Walkerton; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three sisters and four brothers. He was a self-employed painter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. (EST) Friday in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, with Rev. Lloyd George officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (EST) Thursday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday in the funeral home.
