James Edward Gay of Tellico Plains, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was 68. Preceded in death by: father, James Gay; and granddaughter, Brandi Cathy.
Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law-Stephanie and Royce Kelly and Patrice Gay; Mother-Mamie Sue Gay; Sister-June West; Brothers and sisters-in-law-Wayne and Betty Gay, Kenneth and Edna Gay and Ray and Shirley Gay, all of Tellico Plains; Granddaughter-Chloe Toshina Watkins; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 2:30 p.m., Sunday, at Rural Vale Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Biereley-Hale
