Denison Review - Tuesday , September 26th, 1950 - Funeral services were held Saturday at the Wesleyan Methodist church for Homer C Brink, 84. He died last Wednesday at the home of his brother, A.D. Brink. Rev. K.L. Jamieson conducted the services. Burial was in the family lot at Vail.
Mr Brink was the son of CG Brink and Kezioa Kent Brink, early Crawford County settlers. He was born in Cedar county, May 25, 1871. He never married and made his home with his parents until his mother died. Since that time he lived most of the time with is brother A.D. Brink.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs Laura Johnson of Eldora; 2 brothers, James M of Cline Village, IN and Albert Brink of Denison.
Relatives and friends who came from a distance to attend the funeral included the brother and sister, Mrs Phebe Dempster of Emerson, Neb, Emma Brink of Oakdale, Neb., Mr and Mrs Walter Brink of Sioux City, ....
