Claude Earnest Arthur, 79 of Indianapolis, passed away April 18, 2009. He was born May 5th, 1929 to the late Claude Thomas and Annabelle Grimes Arthur. He was an Army vet of the Korean War and was retired from Peerless Pump as a welder. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Union, AFL-CIO, International Machinist Union and Southport Heights Christian Church. Claude is survived by his loving wife, sons, and daughter, grandchildren, and a sister. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21st from 4 to 8 pm, funeral services will be Wed. April 20, 2009 at 10:00am in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. SR 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Entombment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
