Daniel Boone Atteberry was the ninth of fourteen children born to John Bradley Atteberry and Mary Elizabeth Bills-Atteberry. He was married on May 27, 1891, to Ellen R. Mack. He was a grandson of George Washington Atteberry ( DOB-1808, TN) and Joanna Olive-Atteberry (DOB- 1804, KY). Daniel and Ellen lived at 1700 W. Webster,in Springfield, Mo, and he was a teamster by trade at the time of his decease. His wife Ellen has passed away some time before him. He passed away the day after Christmas as a result of lobar pneumonia following a bout with influenza. Services were under the direction of Paxon Undertaking Co. 410 South Ave. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery next to his wife Ellen. May he rest in peace.
