Joe H Cochran, 92, retired farmer, died Sunday at 7 p. m., at the home of his daughter, Mrs Effie Black in Lenox. He was a former resident of Sharpsburg. He and his wife had lived in Lenox the past three years.

Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Bender Funeral Home, with the Rev Cecil Simonton officiating. Burial was in the Blue Grove cemetery southwest of Lenox.
OBITUARY
Joseph Henry Cochran, son of Nancy and Alexander Cochran, was born in Carthage, Ill., Aug 28, 1863 and passed away at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 19 days. For the past three years he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs Effie Black in Lenox. When he was 20 years old he came to Lenox with his parents.

Surviving are his wife Eleanor, 4 daughters, Mrs Ida Bennett, Mrs Effie Black and Mrs Ruth Beemer, all of Lenox, and Mrs Florence McKelvey of Monroe, Mich.; 3 sons, Harry E Cochran of Wadsworth, Kan.; John Cochran of Council Bluffs, and Glen T Cochran of Salem, Ore.; 9 grand children and 10 great giand children; a brother Harry Cochran and a sister, Mrs Emma Hurley, both of Lenox; two sons preceded him in death.
