James Dale Abell, 45, died Monday, November 3rd in Shelbyville. He was a native of Shelby County and a communications technician for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He was very interested in gardening and was an avid animal lover.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Grant Abell of Louisville; his daughter, Erin Abell of Louisville; his parents, Sam and Janet Abell of Shelbyville; his brother, Scott Abell of Shelbyville; and his sister, Deborah Abell Kramer of Crestwood.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Baxter and Don Wade officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bagdad Cemetery.
