Son of John Bostwick & Catherine Butler. First married Mary Elvira Hard Apr 27, 1837. Mary Elvira Hard was born Sep 9, 1819, and died Jul 6, 1839, in Illinois. They had one son, Cyrene Hard Bostwick who was born Apr 15, 1838 and died Oct 14, 1838, in Illinois.

Harmon Gilbert Bostwick married a second time to Mary Ramsey Sep 13, 1840, in Peoria Co., Illinois.

An Old Waco Citizen Dies - Funeral Tomorrow

Mr. H. G. Bostwick, one of Waco's old landmarks, died at 9:10 this morning at his residence, No. 328 McKeen street, in the Fifth Ward. Mr. Bostwick was 76 years old, and has been a resident of Waco since its village days and has been engaged in various kinds of business. He ws for many years proprietor of an extensive mill in this city which was run successfully until the roller patents came into use, when Mr. Bostwick retired from teh busniess. Hs son, Harmon G., Jr., is proprietor of a corn mill on the east side. The funeral will take place from the Austin Street Presbyterian Church, Saturay at 3 p.m., December 13, 1890, Rev. S.A. King officiating. Interment at Oakwood.
