Lois Lee, a native of Tyler County, graduated with a BS in Home Economics from The University of Texas in Austin on June 6, 1938. Prior to WWII she taught at Livingston High School. During the war she worked at Magnolia refinery in Beaumont. She married James Timothy Stryker in Woodville on June 16, 1946. She was an elementary school teacher in Woodville for thirty-one years, and was an active member of the Polk County Art Guild and the Jasper County Art Guild. She was a gifted artist, loving daughter, big "Sissie", wife, "Momma", "Grannie" and "Great Grannie". She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tim. She is survived by three daughters, three sons, one son-in-law, three daughters-in-law, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
