Mary Ellen Jaco was born October 14, 1883 and died December 3, 1951. She was the daughter of late J. W. and Jane Jaco who preceded her in death. Mary Ellen was married to Jas. H. Main in 1904. To this union three sons were born all of who preceded her in death several years ago.

In 1943 she was married to Eli Townsend who died in 1949.

She was converted at the age of 15 and joined the Methodist Church where she-remained an active member until her health became impaired. Her glory was to go to church and Sunday school and sing in the choir at Fremont.

Ella was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge at Winona, Mo. but due to ill health, she was unable to attend regular meetings.

She leaves one sister, Mrs. Lulu Oliver of West Plains and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn their loss. A brother, Luther M. Jaco, of Oakdale, New York, preceded Ella in death one month ago.
