Michael B. Zehner died at 12 o'clock Thursday noon at the age of 83 years. For the past year and a half he had been living at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. N. Clevenger, a half mile south of Wolf Creek. He had abeen in poor health for several years the chief ailment being hear trouble. He took worse last Monday and declined rapidly until death. He leaves five living children: Rosetta Zehner, Mrs. Elizabeth Clevenger, Benjamin F. Zehner, Mrs. Ida Richard and Simon Zehner, all of this county; one sister, a brother to mourn his departure. He was for many years miller of the Wolf Creek mills and is known by many all over the county. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Clevenger home. Burial was in Pisgah cemetery.
