ROCHESTER - Thelma Ann Grinstead, 86, died Saturday, September 18, 1999 in a
local nursing home after a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rochester First Baptist Church with the
Rev. Bud Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery, directed by
Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grinstead was born in Haskell County and attended school in Rochester. She
was a farmer and a homemaker. She formerly served on the Rochester City Council.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of Ira Grinstead,
whom she married in 1933.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Fry of Rochester; two sisters, Catherine
Adkins of Lake Stamford and Betty Hearn of Rochester; two grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
