Another great source of information for Miller research, especially those descended from Immigrant Issac Miller, is the book, generally still available from libraries: The Millers of Millersburg and their Descendants, with kindred families.....by John Bailey Nicklin, Jr. 1923 It was complied for Gustavus Hindman Miller.

Note: James Miller (among first five children and my great great) married twice: first to Susan as stated in the article, in Rutherford County, TN, in 1845. They migrated to Caldwell County, Ky., by 1850 census, Susan died, and in 1854 James married Nancy M Blalock, Caldwell County, Ky Book 3, Page 160, File C0079464. Marriage records for Isaac and Mildred, who also migrated to Caldwell County, on file Caldwell County as well.

Note: William M. Miller's will, a copy transcribed by a clerk, is on file with the Coryell County Court Clerk, but it does not list names of children. Some probate records, which probably do, are missing. These would provide paper proof that he is the father of the first five children (my line; the second group of children can be found in the 1850 Rutherford County TN Census.) If anyone has paper proof of first children, please contact me and we can exchange what information we have. Johnny Miller
