Isabel Maire (Bump) Flowers-Beckman, 84, Hillsdale, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2003. She was born on August 24, 1918, in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Laura (Rose) and Charles Bump.
Isabel retired from Wagner Industries and was a former employee at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
In 1934 she married Hubert L. Flowers who preceded her in death in 1965. Her second marriage was in 1971 to Ray Beckman who preceded her in 1991.
She was also preceded by her parents, a daughter, Betty, two sisters, one brother, and seven grandchildren.
Isabel is survived by: six daughters: Beverly Baxter of Hillsdale; Jean (Theodore) Ankney of Hillsdale; Nancy Byrd of Pioneer, OH; Phyllis Koontz of Hillsdale; Ann (Richard) Murphy of Camden; Barbara (Ron) Richardson of Osseo; a son, Herb (Penny) Flowers of Jackson; a brother, Robert Ringman of Hillsdale; also 40 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.
Interment will be at the Waldron Cemetery.
