Funeral services for William McDonald Silvertooth, 76, pioneer farmer of Baxter County, who died Wednesday of last week, were held in the Galatia Chruch Thursday with the Rev. A.T. Baker officiating. Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery.

Mr. Silvertooth was born at Iuka in Baxter County February 10, 1965, and spent his life in this county. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was well known for his leadership and upright characteristics. He was married to Miss Minnie Payne in 1898 and to this union four children were born.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Mrs. Bryan Lackey, Fitts Town, OK; Marvin E. Silvertooth, Norfork; Mrs. Orel Kurley, Elizabeth and 27 grandchildren.
