Blain LAUGHLIN, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman LAUGHLIN, died at the home three miles south of Libertyville Friday morning with tetanus caused from a defective tooth.... Services held at Mt. Zion Church at 10:30 Sunday and interment in Fell Cemetery....

Blair Kerdet LAUGHLIN, second son of Hermon and Grace LAUGHLIN, was born in Van Buren County, Iowa, Aug. 13, 1907, and died at his home southwest of Libertyville Mar. 29, 1912, being 4 y. 7 m. and 16 days old... Lockjaw... Interment Fell Cemetery.

A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled.
God, in his wisdom, has recalled - The boon his love had given,
And though the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in heaven.
