Beck, Francis A. "Honey" Age 90 passed away at his residence in the town of Rochester on Tuesday December 11, 2007. Honey was born July 3, 1917 in Waterford the son of the late William and Dora (nee. Kortendick) Beck. He spent his early life in Waterford and on September 25, 1948 at St. Thomas Church Waterford he married Phyllis Jane Bloomfield whom preceded him in death June 5, 1998. The couple had lived in Waterford and moved to the Town of Rochester 28 years ago. Honey was a carpenter and worked for J.W. Peters in Burlington where he retired. He was a member of St. Thomas Church; he loved woodworking, Building and refinishing furniture and spending time in the summer in his flower gardens.
Survived by four children: Barbara Beck of Lake Geneva, WI; William (Kathleen) Beck of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; Tom (Debra) Beck of Rochester & Mary Beck of Phoenix, AZ. Three Grandchildren: Michael Beck of Reedsburg, Jessica and Amy Beck of Rochester. Sister-in-law: Ruth Beck of Cochise, AZ. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Phyllis, and one son Ronald Beck.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 14th 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 307 South First Street, (Hwy 20) Waterford with Reverend Gene Doda officiating. Burial will follow Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation in CHURCH from 9:30-11:00 A.M. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either St. Thomas School, or St. Thomas Athletic Association – 305 South First Street, Waterford, WI 53185
