MALLETTE
James "Snooks" Mallette, 91, of Vancleave, Miss. passed away August 23, 2006 in Ocean Springs, Miss. He was born on March 13, 1915 in Vancleave, Miss. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
Mr. Mallette was a Game Warden for the Mississippi Fish and Game Commission. He was a State Inspector as well as a Federal Game Warden. He was a member of the Bureau of Marine Resources, served on the Sheriffs Board of Civil Service, and was a dedicated farmer. He was a devoted Christian and member of Christ's Church in Pascagoula, Miss.
Mr. Mallette leaves loving memories to his wife Sabralee Ottis Mallette; his children Naomi G. Mallette, James F. (Marsha) Mallette, Sharon E. (Albert) Goss, Karen L. (Freddy) Goss, Gary D. (Gail) Mallette, Sabra G. (Jay) Horne, Gretta M. Welch, Lisa D. (Rodney) Stokes, George E. (Jackie) Mallette, and Tony B. Mallette; and a sister Cynthia E. Davis. He is survived by twenty one grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mallette was preceded in death by his parents George and Naomi Mallette; a son John K. Mallette; and his brothers Marlin H. "Uncle Dubie" Mallette, George "Scrap" Mallette, Jason F. Mallette, Tom M. Mallette, and St. Elmo Mallette.
