Catherine "Katie" Miller, 83 died at 11:15 p.m. at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 26, 1899 at Oran, to the late Leo and Theresa Kiefer Halter, she was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, Chaffee Senior Citizens Club and Chaffee VFW Auxiliary Post 3127.
On Oct. 3, 1921 she married Sereno W. Miller, who preceded her in death oct. 11, 1962.
Survivors include: three sons, Leon W. Miller of Chaffee, Arthur J. Miller of Capentersville, Ill. and James R. Mller of LaGrange, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Betty) Enderle of Kelso; two brothers, Theon Halter and Joe Halter of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Brockmire of St. Louis and
Mrs. Pauline Horrell of Oran; and 12 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three grest-stepgrandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 10 a.m., Today at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Kunkel, pastor officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Harry Enderle, Marvin Enderle, A.G. Paul, Dick Scheeter,Fred Horrell, and Ted Ziegler.
