Funeral services were held at the Mullet-Streitwieser funeral home in Superior Monday, June 28, for Mrs. J.E. Willcox, a resident of the Superior community for many years, who passed away at Rest Haven home at Harvard Friday, June 25.

Mrs. Willcox was born at Eldorado (sic), Kan., Jan. 7, 1874. Soon after her birth, her parents moved to a farm near Blanchard, Ia., where she continued to make her home until 1909 when they moved to the Superior vicinity. Mr. Willcox preceded her in death in 1950.

She is survived by her four children, LeRoy Wesley of Ault, Colo., Joseph Leonard of Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Mabel W. Davis of Norfolk, and William Leslie of Nelson, one sister, Mrs. C.E. Adams of Superior, two brothers, Joseph D. McKee, St. Joesph, Mo., and J. Knox McKee of Superior, ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery (sic) in Superior. -- Superior Express
