She was married to Henry J. Boese in 1881, at Mulish, Russia, and with her husband, came to America in 1885. To this union were born eleven children, one passing on in infancy.
The family spent most of their lives in this country, experiencing the hardships of pioneer days. Mr. Boese departed this life on May 30, 1923.
In early life she united with the Mennonite Church, then later in life she affiliated with German Methodist church, and in 1931, on April 19, she united with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of which she remained a faithful member.
Besides a host of friends, she mourn her departure three daughters and seven sons. Mrs. Katie Kline, Sliver Cliff, Colorado; Mrs. Eva Kilgore, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Mrs. Agusta Ebert. Alexander, Kansas; Henry, William, Peter, and Walter Boese of Alexander, Kansas; John and Herman Boese of Larned, and Jake of Hoisington. She leaves also forty-six grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren.
