Died at Retreat
James Gibson, aged 31, died Friday night as Retreat Hospital after a lingering illness of complications. He is survived by his father, William Gibson, of 185 South Hancock St., and the following brothers and sisters: William F., of Philadelphia; Charles, of Nanticoke; Alice M. and Mrs. George (Jennie) Clouser, of this city; Mrs. Charles Diefendorfer, of Moosic; Mrs. Andrew Callahan, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Laura Rowlands, of Jeddo; Mrs. L. S. Johnston, of Chicago, Miss.; and Miss Kate Gibson of Panama. The funeral will be private and will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on South Hancock street. Rev. Mr. McAlpine will officiate. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery. Sons of Liberty Lodge, 1103, I.O.O.F., will attend the funeral in a body.
